《우리는 우리 밤을 떠나지 않는다 - Remaining Where Light Falls》는 촛불과 함께 돌보는 자와 돌봄을 받는 자 사이에서 일어나는 감정을 더듬는 시도를 하는 퍼포먼스형 전시 이다. 관객은 퍼포먼스가 진행되는 동안 돌보는 자와 함께 돌봄을 받는 자의 생의 시간을 함께 걷게 된다.

본 다원예술공연은 니콜라스 콜린스(Nicolas Collins)의 아날로그 악기로 구현된 2009년 작곡 「미셸 바이스비츠를 추모하며 (In Memoriam Michel Waisvisz)」의 디지털 악기를 통해 새롭게 구현된 버전을 포함하고 있으며, 한국문화예술위원회 2025 다원예술창작산실의 지원을 받아 제작되었습니다.

《우리는 우리 밤을 떠나지 않는다 - Remaining Where Light Falls》 is a performative exhibition that traces the intricate intimacy between caregiver and the one being cared for - subtle, familiar, and quietly infused with both affection and resentment. During the performance, the audience walks alongside the performer and a candle, sharing in the lived time of the one receiving care.

This performance incorporates a new version of Nicolas Collins’ composition “In Memoriam Michel Waisvisz (2009)”, realized on a digital instrument based on Collins’ original analog version.
