2026년 10월 17일, 18일, 24일, 25일 진행되는 야외 퍼포먼스 페스티벌 《윈드밀 에어 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026》은 참여 작가들의 작업을 단계적으로 경험할 수 있도록 사전 프로그램 성격의 《윈드밀 에어 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026 웜업 시리즈》를 진행합니다. 완성된 결과물뿐 아니라 리서치와 대화, 실험의 과정을 함께 공유함으로써 예술가와 관객, 공간 사이의 지속 가능한 관계와 창작 생태를 만들어가고자 합니다.
《윈드밀 에어 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026 웜업 시리즈》의 세 번째 프로그램으로 우리노리의 <강걍술래>가 진행됩니다. 우리노리 팀(이계영, 이정민, 조승호)의 진행을 통해 참여자들은 윈드밀을 놀이터 삼아 강강술래에 담긴 움직임과 리듬을 함께 경험하며 대동의 과정을 나눕니다.
더불어 이번 프로그램은 다섯 번의 만남을 통해 조금씩 관계와 움직임을 쌓아가며, 그 경험을 2026년 10월에 열리는 야외 퍼포먼스 페스티벌 《윈드밀 에어 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026》까지 이어가고자 합니다. 매 회차의 경험이 다음 만남의 출발점이 되기에, 가능한 연속적으로 함께할 수 있는 분들을 우선적으로 모시고자 합니다. 함께 만들어낸 움직임과 소리가 더 큰 원으로 확장되어 가는 과정을 경험해보고 싶은 분들의 참여를 기다립니다. 향후 여건에 따라 추가 참여가 가능한 경우에는 일부 회차에 한해 단회 참여도 열릴 수 있습니다.

강강술래를 통해 함께 움직이고 놀아볼 참여자들을 초대합니다.
이 프로젝트는 한국의 전통 놀이이자 춤인 강강술래를 오늘의 시선으로 다시 바라보며, 그 안에 담긴 놀이의 즐거움을 함께 발견해보는 워크숍입니다. 혼자였던 움직임은 둘이 되고, 둘은 다시 줄이 되고, 그렇게 이어진 몸들은 어느새 하나의 큰 원을 만들어냅니다. 이 과정에서 우리는 자연스럽게 서로를 바라보고, 손을 맞잡고, 같은 장단에 발을 맞춥니다.
강강술래의 원 안에서 만들어지는 이 만남은 단순히 전통을 재현하는 자리가 아니라, 움직임과 놀이를 통해 서로 어우러지는 방식을 찾아가는 과정입니다. 우리는 강강술래에 담긴 움직임과 놀이의 원리를 탐색하며, 서로의 움직임과 소리에 귀 기울이고 새로운 놀이를 만들어갑니다. 이를 통해 손을 맞잡고 원을 이루던 오래된 놀이가 오늘 우리에게 어떤 의미와 즐거움으로 이어질 수 있는지 함께 살펴봅니다.

우리노리는 몸과 움직임, 소리와 놀이를 통해 사람들이 서로 연결되는 순간을 만들어가는 프로젝트 팀입니다. 전통 놀이와 춤에 담긴 공동체적 감각을 오늘의 방식으로 다시 경험하고, 함께 움직이고 듣고 어우러지는 자리를 만들어갑니다. 우리노리는 각자의 방식으로 몸과 소리, 움직임을 탐구해온 세 사람이 만나, 함께 놀고 배우며 새로운 관계를 만들어가는 과정을 이어가고 있습니다.

As a lead-up program to the outdoor performance festival 《𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026》, taking place on October 17–18 and October 24–25, 2026, the 《𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026 Warm-Up Series》 offers audiences an opportunity to engage with the participating artists' practices in advance. By sharing not only the finished works but also the processes of research, conversation, and experimentation, the warm-up series seeks to cultivate sustainable relationships and creative ecologies among artists, audiences, and spaces.
As the third iteration of the 《𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026 Warm-Up Series》, ‘Ganggangsullae’ by the collective oorinori (Gyeyeong Lee, Jungmin Lee, and Seung Ho Jo) transforms WINDMILL into an active playground. Facilitated by the collective, participants will immerse themselves in the inherent movements and rhythms of Ganggangsullae (a traditional Korean circle dance), fostering a process of communal solidarity and collective experience.
Spanning a five-week trajectory, this program seeks to progressively cultivate interpersonal relationships and shared vocabularies of movement, ultimately expanding toward the outdoor performance festival 《𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026》, to be held in October 2026. Because each session serves as a critical departure point for the next, priority registration will be granted to participants who can commit to the entire five-part sequence. We cordially invite those who wish to experience movements and sounds expanding into a larger, resonant circle. Depending on subsequent programmatic capacity, limited registration for individual sessions may open at a later date.

We are looking for participants to join us in movement and play through 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐞.
This project is a workshop that recontextualizes 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐞—a traditional Korean communal play and dance—through a contemporary lens, rediscovering the inherent joy of play embedded within it. A solitary movement expands into a duet, which then extends into a lineage; these interconnected bodies soon culminate in a singular, vast circle. Through the process, we naturally find ourselves facing one another, holding hands, and synchronizing our steps to a shared rhythmic cycle (jangdan).
The encounter generated within the circle of 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐞 is not a mere reenactment of tradition, but a collective inquiry into the modalities of coming together through movement and play. By exploring the underlying principles of motion and play intrinsic to 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐞, we listen closely to each other’s movements and sounds, co-creating new forms of play. In doing so, we will examine how this ancient, cyclical practice of holding hands can extend into our present, offering new dimensions of meaning and joy.

This project comprises five sequential workshops that actively expand into the outdoor performance festival 《𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026》, scheduled for October 2026.
Given the organic continuity of the curriculum, priority will be granted to applicants who can attend all five sessions.
Participants unable to attend every session are still encouraged to sustain their journey through subsequent rehearsals and gatherings.
We welcome participants invested in experiencing the overarching narrative and flow of the entire program, rather than a single-day attendance.
Depending on enrollment, additional openings for individual sessions may be announced.
*Participation in the 《𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026》 festival following the conclusion of the five workshops is entirely optional and based on individual preference.

oorinori is a project collective that curates interconnected moments through the mediums of the body, movement, sound, and play. Comprising three practitioners who have each individually explored the body, sound, and movement in their respective ways, the collective aims to re-experience the communal sensibility embedded in traditional play and dance through contemporary methodologies—establishing a shared space for moving, listening, and harmonizing. Together, they continue a lifelong process of playing, learning, and forging alternative relationships.

Having danced continuously since her adolescence, Lee aspires to be someone who empathizes collectively and grows alongside others through the medium of movement.

Jo waits for a moment and a space where ‘we’ can come into being, temporarily, through the act of ‘listening together’.
Jungmin Lee
"Cultivating a modest garden in Gongju, I often thought—if only we could have observed our bodies in this gentle manner." Inspired by this realization, Lee founded and currently operates the somatic studio The Body is a Garden. With a background in dance, she previously worked in dance-movement psychotherapy. Upon completing her training as an Alexander Technique instructor, she has dedicated her practice entirely to the somatic exploration of the body.

《윈드밀 에어 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026 웜업 시리즈》의 두 번째 프로그램으로 김은한 작가의 <결말의 느낌>이 진행됩니다. 본 프로그램은 신작의 시작과 완결 사이 - 작가가 생각의 창고 속에 켜켜이 쌓아 놓았던 상자들을 열어 내는 자리를 가져보고자 합니다. 그 가운데서 작가 김은한이 지닌 시각과 향내를 함께 즐겨보고자 합니다. 3일 간의 프로그램은 모두 같은 우산 아래 놓여 있지만 매일 조금씩 다른 모습으로 구성됩니다.

윈드밀 에어를 위한 신작을 구상하고자 한다. 이번 행사는 그 중간 단계로서 창작자가 가진 아이디어와 기술, 세계관을 선보이고 의견을 나누는 시간이다. 몇 번의 시연과 토크가 있다. 신작을 구상하기로 우선 마음만 먹었는데, 구상한 순간 마음속 유행이 지나가 버릴까 두렵다. 2026년에 달고나 커피를 만드는 꼴이다. 여전히 맛이 있겠지만 지나갔다. 그래서 신작은 폭발적인 속도로 만드는 편이다.
한편, 여전히 마음속 은은한 유행으로 남아 있는 게 있다. 결말을 집어던지는 것, 그리고 잘 알아보지 않고 성급하게 좋은 느낌만으로 정하는 것이다. 잘 마무리되는 작품의 아름다움만큼 엉망진창으로 끝나는 작품도 좋아한다. 지금까지 만든 공연 중에서 만족스러운 결말을 몇 가지 소개하고 싶다. 또 이번 행사에서는 맛있는 부분을 알려주지 않은 채 끝내는 이야기 형식인 '리들 스토리'를 전하고 싶다. 좋은 느낌만으로 잘 알아보지 못한 채 공연을 만든 경험도 전하고 싶다.
소개할 내용은 프랭크 리처드 스톡턴의 《여왕의 박물관》, 기다 준이치로의 《수수께끼 이야기 謎の物語》(미번역), kazuou의 《수수께끼 이야기 북 가이드 謎の物語ブックガイド》(미번역)에서 참고하려고 한다.
라쿠고와 부조리 코미디/호러의 결말짓는 방식도 자세히 전하려고 한다. 라쿠고의 '오치(落ち)' 혹은 '사게(下げ)'라고 불리는 방식이 흥미로워서 1인극 형태로 자주 선보이고 있다. 마지막으로는 좋은 느낌만으로 잘 알아보지 못한 채 공연을 만든 경험도 전하고 싶다.
－ "자, 여러분 뭐 보고 싶은 거 말씀해보세요. 셰익스피어 풍, 몰리에르 풍, 그리스풍, 이탈리아풍. 골라잡으면 알아서 맞춰드릴게요."
－ "왜 맨날 느낌으로 지어서 해주시는 거예요? 원작이 궁금한데."
－ "끙. 책들이 다 삭았어요. 도서관이 파묻힌 유적에 종종 가보는데, 남아 있는 게 없어. 표지만 좀 괜찮아서 제목도 거의 안 보이는데, 상상은 할 수 있죠."
－ "옛날에 읽은 이야기를 떠올려 재야 창작자에게 재현해달라고 요청하지만, 자신의 기억을 뛰어넘는 걸작을 만날 리 없었고, 애초에 기억 자체가 모호해서 여러 이야기를 혼동하는 때도 있었다."

We invite the audience into a warehouse of thoughts, where archives of layered concepts unpack and unfold. We invite you to immerse yourselves in the particular sensibility, humor, and perspective that define Kim Eunhan’s artistic practice.

I intend to conceptualize a new piece for 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑. It will serve as an intermediate event with a dedicated forum to introduce and exchange ideas, methodologies, and worldviews through a number of demonstrations and artist talks. Having resolved to conceive this new project, I am struck by the sudden anxiety that the internal trend driving my inspiration may dissolve the very moment it is formulated. It is like whipping up a Dalgona coffee in 2026 – while it would still taste good, its cultural relevance has passed. Consequently, I tend to execute new works at an accelerated, breakneck speed.
At the same time, there are subtle internal tropes that persistently linger within me: acts of carrying out an abrupt ending, or hasty decision makings based purely on compulsions without thorough inquiry. I am equally drawn to beautifully curated and systematically resolved pieces as I am to works culminating in absolute chaos. In this program, I hope to introduce a variety of narrative endings from my previous performances that I found satisfying. By exploring the form of the riddle story—a narrative structure that concludes without revealing its most critical resolution—I will also share my experiences of constructing performances driven solely by intuitive impulses left deliberately unexamined.
My primary references for this inquiry draw from Frank R. Stockton’s The Queen's Museum, Jun'ichirō Kida’s Nazo no Monogatari (謎의 物語, Stories of Mystery, untranslated), and kazuou’s Nazo no Monogatari Bukku Gaido (謎의 物語ブックガイド, Stories of Mystery Book Guide, untranslated).
Additionally, I will analyze the structural resolutions found in the mechanics of the traditional Japanese performance art of Rakugo (落語 / らくご), as well as within the genres of absurd comedy and absurd horror (不条理コメディ／ホラー / ふじょう리こめでぃ／ほらー). I have long been fascinated by the narrative devices in Rakugo known as Ochi (落ち / the drop) or Sage (下げ / the lowering), which I frequently employ in the form of solo monologues. Ultimately, this presentation serves as an invitation to examine the artistic outcomes generated when one surrenders entirely to a compelling and vivid impression, bypassing the need for rigorous verification.

— "Why do you always improvise? I am curious about the original text."
— "Urgh. The books have completely decayed. I often visit ruins where libraries lie buried, but nothing remains. The titles are invisible, but the covers are intact, so one can still imagine."

2026년 10월 17일, 18일, 24일, 25일 진행되는 야외 퍼포먼스 페스티벌 《윈드밀 에어 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026》은 참여 작가들의 작업을 단계적으로 경험할 수 있도록 사전 프로그램 성격의 《윈드밀 에어 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026 웜업 시리즈》를 진행합니다. 완성된 결과물뿐 아니라 리서치와 대화, 실험의 과정을 함께 공유함으로써 예술가와 관객, 공간 사이의 지속 가능한 관계와 창작 생태를 만들어가고자 합니다.
《윈드밀 에어 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐀𝐈𝐑 2026 웜업 시리즈》의 첫 번째 프로그램으로 김이중 작가의 <지구인 살림>이 진행됩니다. 본 프로그램은 한 달 과정으로 진행되는 예술적·실험적 성격의 프로젝트이며, 참여자들은 기록과 퍼포먼스적 실천의 과정을 함께 경험하게 됩니다.
우리는 하루에도 많은 소비를 합니다. <지구인 살림>은 그 소비가 우리에게 어떤 영향을 남기는지 11가지 기준으로 매일 기록하는 활동입니다. 참여자들은 자신의 소비를 단순한 금액뿐 아니라 환경·사회·윤리·개인적 영향 등의 기준으로 점수화하여 기록하는 ‘지구인 살림’을 작성하게 됩니다. 소비 행위를 다양한 관점에서 다시 바라보고, 기록하는 것과 더불어 책임을 지는 활동을 통해 삶의 태도를 되돌아보게 됩니다.
일정 기준을 충족하지 못해 누적된 페널티 점수는 ‘봉사형벌’이라는 퍼포먼스를 통해 만회하게 됩니다. 봉사형벌은 자신이 혐오하거나 꺼리는 것을 직접 교정하며, 타자와 공동체에 도움이 되는 일을 수행하는 징벌적 공공행위입니다. 자신이 외면하던 상황의 뒤처리를 스스로 맡으면서 소비 이후의 책임과 ‘나’의 경계를 다시 묻게 합니다.
참여자들은 기록과 책임, 불편과 실천의 과정을 함께 통과하게 됩니다. 잘 산다는 것은 무엇인지, 그 질문의 실마리를 함께 찾아갈 분들을 기다립니다.

《WINDMILL AIR 2026 Warm-Up Series: Earthling Sustain》 by Kim Iijoong
As a lead-up program to the outdoor performance festival 《WINDMILL AIR 2026》, taking place on October 17–18 and 24–25, 2026, the 《WINDMILL AIR 2026 Warm-Up Series》 offers audiences an opportunity to engage with participating artists' practices in advance. By sharing not only finished works but also the processes of research, conversation, and experimentation, the series seeks to cultivate sustainable relationships and creative ecologies among artists, audiences, and spaces.
The first program of the series is Earthling Sustain by Kim Iijoong. Conceived as a month-long artistic and experimental project, participants will engage in a process of documentation and performative practice.
We make countless consumer choices every single day. Earthling Sustain is a daily practice of logging how our consumption impacts the environment, society, and ourselves based on 11 distinct criteria developed by Kim Iijoong.
When a purchase fails to meet these standards, the accumulated penalty is worked off through a performance action titled “Bongsa-Hyeongbeol: Service as Punishment.”
Service as Punishment is a punitive public action in which participants directly confront what they usually avoid, dislike, or feel aversion toward, and transform that confrontation into an act for the good of others and the community. By taking responsibility for the consequences of situations they had previously turned away from, participants are asked to rethink their post-consumption responsibilities and the boundaries of the “self.”
We invite you to join us in asking what it means to live with responsibility, rather than turning away.
